It started with a boat! It then led to boat graveyards, derelict railway depots and car cemeteries. The end result is a collection of photographic portraits of abandoned boats, cars and trains, where rusted metal, rotting wood, twisted shapes and unusual settings, combine to bring out the personalities of these decaying objects.
Rack and Ruin captures the photographs and the stories which lie behind them. This hardback book has 96 pages of text, colour and black and white photographs, printed on high quality uncoated paper.
All of the proceeds from the book will go to support the work of Glasgow City Mission. This is a charity which is transforming lives by working with homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Glasgow.
